The top 20 U.S. Corporations spent together U.S.$ 266 Million and hired 1810 Lobbyists in 2010.

The Number One corporate spender is General Electric: U.S. $ 39.3 million and 185 lobbyists hired, followed by Verizon Communications: U.S.$ 16.8 million and 143 Lobbyists hired; Boeing: U.S. $ 13.9 and 139 lobbyists hired; Comcast: U.S.$ 13 million and 109 lobbyists hired; AT&T: U.S.$ 15.4 million and 93 lobbyists hired; Lockheed Martin: U.S.$ 12.6 million and 103 lobbyists hired; FedEx: U.S.$ 25.6 million and 66 lobbyists hired; Pfizer: U.S.$ 13.3 million and 80 lobbyists hired; General Dynamics: € 10.9 million and 102 lobbyists hired; United Technologies: U.S.$ 14.5 million and 68 lobbyists hired; Northrop Grumann: U.S.$ 15.7 million and 65 lobbyists hired; General Motors: U.S.$ 9.6 million and 76 lobbyists hired; Microsoft: U.S.$ 6.9 million and 104 lobbyists hired; Prudential Financial: U.S.$ 8.8 million and 69 lobbyists hired; Raytheon: U.S.$ 7 million and 71 lobbyists hired; Birkshire Hathaway: U.S.$ 9.6 million and 64 lobbyists hired; Walmart Stores: U.S.$ 6 million and 90 lobbyists hired; Dow Chemical: U.S.$ 8.2 million and 63 lobbyists hired; Exxon Mobil: U.S.$ 12.5 million and 50 lobbyists hired; and last but not least Johnson & Johnson: U.S.$6.7 million and 70 lobbyists hired.

Of course, much of the lobbying undertaken pertains to defence procurement contracts.

Corporate lobbying at the EU level is yet to reach such levels.
